Here are a few ways in which you can improve exposure and thus increase the chances of being selected by prospective tutees:
Complete your profile
Completing your profile is a great way to boost your exposure in search results and gives you the chance to provide more information about yourself. The more information there is available about you, the more likely the tutee will consider you further.
Completing your profile involves:
- Uploading a photo of yourself (5%)
- Getting an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check (10%)
- Uploading your CRB check onto the site (10%)
- Selling yourself in the ‘About me’ section (10%)
Featured Tutors
Featured tutors are shown on the home/front page together with their favourite subjects for higher exposure. To become a featured tutor you must have uploaded a photo that follows our guidelines, have a CRB check and teach at least one subject at £9 or less.
Positive feedback
When you give lessons, your tutees will have the opportunity to rate and leave feedback on your profile. Refer to How do I get ‘Elite Student Tutor’ status? for further details.
